Cancelation Policy

The AID Lubricants cancellation policy will not waver your rights when the company is at fault for the goods being faulty or inaccurate product descriptions.

The consumer also has the right under Distance Selling Regulations to cancel an online, mail or telephone order for a limited time – before delivery and up to 14 days of the product being returned – during this time a refund will be granted.  In order to cancel the order it is advised to contact AID directly through email or telephone correspondence.

Through cancelling an order, it is expected that goods be returned at the customers expense with liability for risk or loss of damage – it is therefore considerable to undertake insurance for the value of the returned goods.

Faulty or Inaccurate Products

Should a product not meet AID’s high standards of quality, consumers are welcomed to contact the business in order to rectify the situation.

The customer is able to reject the product in reasonable time after delivery if it is not fit for purpose or described inaccurately, upon this a full refund will be given on the provision that the consumer has not excessively handled goods. Details of this can be found in the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

AID Lubricants takes no responsibility for ensuring goods are the appropriate component for application, therefore not accepting liability for loss obtained as a consequence. Liability is limited to price paid for good.

Making a Return

Goods will be accepted for return and refund (including postage) in the following circumstances:

  • Order is incorrect against order confirmation
  • Goods are faulty
  • Products supplied are of incorrect suitability following advice from website content
  • Under any circumstance during the first 14 days of receiving the product under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.

When a cancellation of contract occurs, it is expected that the consumer will bear the costs of the return of goods.

It is highly recommended with all purchase of goods that a proof of delivery be acquired.

Returned products must be in original packaging where sealed with or similar to “non-refundable if seal broken” in order to receive a refund. For expensive goods – i.e. over £250 that insurance is taken out in order to insure against loss.

In order for a refund to be processed the customer must be able to provide proof of purchase in the form of a receipt.
